So our kids Elementary does a read-a-thon every year. The kids read and get people to pledge money for how many hours they read for a week. For example, we pledge 50 cents for every hour our kids read. Doesnt seem like a lot, but when you have 3 kids doing it, it adds up. E's 6th grade class ending up being the top fundraising class and for their reward they all got to go for a ride in a hot air balloon. Only the top 6th grade and 5th grade class got rides. Its was pretty cool. They loved it! At the end, their Principle got in and threw out candy to the kids below.

E's teacher just loves her. At parent teacher confs, she cant say enough good things about her. She wants to keep her. E has always been such a great student!
