Just a quick little 10k...

So my friend Susan(on left) came into my work on Friday and asked if I wanted to run the Deseret News marathon that was the next day. Haha...jk! Just the 10k. I like to live on the edge, and its only 6.2 miles, so I said sure. We called Amber(on right) and suckered her too and we all ran it. Susan did all the leg work and went and registered us and got all our stuff. Race started at 6am, so we got up at 430(yikes). It was a good nice little Saturday morning run with thousands of people. This was my 3rd time running this 10k. I learned that this 10k is the most popular in the state. Just some little trivia there for ya. The only dumb thing about 1ok's, is you dont get a medal. Only the top three finishers in each age group do. Whos dumb idea was that!? Its all about the medal dont they know! I was 57th in my age group out of well...I cant remember. Anyhoo....good times!
